Surround Scent was a tri-sensory experience spontaneously created at CeC 2012. I explored the sense of smell by mixing found scents live while my collaborators created live music (Abhinay Khoparzi, Archan Nair and Sachin Shetty) and reactive visualizations (Joshua Batty).

Edgelogue was the experimental creativity segment of the Delhi International Arts Festival 2010 produced by The Academy of Electronic Arts (AeA). This video is from a spontaneous performance involving Shankar Barua (live audio processing), Olive Lopez (dance) and myself (live video capture and processing).

The Cube is a visual installation that I first saw being used by an acquaintance (Jarrod Woody). My own versions have been manually twirled as opposed to having a motor drive the Cube's revolutions.

Lionel Dentan (Da Saz) has been someone I have very deeply admired and been inspired by. I had this amazing opportunity of spontaneously collaborating with this experimental audio genius at CeC 2011.

Most of my work as a Live performer involves establishing experiences that usually include some sort of live audio or music while I control the visual environment. I use the webcam as an instrument to experiment with all kinds of moving subjects or by putting statics into motion. I never bring anything planned to the performance and operate on pure spontaneity. Which is also why the first video listed below is where I experimented with scents, instead of visual data.

Projection Mapping is something I recently experimented with using a sculpt of Jim Morrison's face at a suburban pub in Mumbai. I performed with the band Space along with visual co-collaborator, Harshvardhan Kadam.

LIVE COLLABORATIONS

Reactive visualizations in a spontaneous performance with Indie band Maati Baani at WPP Stream, India

Live at the Console with Aftertaste

at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai.

Made Stage was a live cinema project where we created a live visual experience of over 3 hours using chemical reactions and other naturally animated instances synched to the music of 4 independent music artists. We also used an aerial dancer to use his shadows on our visuals live in performance.
